Grand Central Station

Hour:    opens every day from 5:30 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

Grand Central is a terminal station on 42th street and Park Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. The most striking part of the station is undoubtedly the Vanderbilt Hall, it’s a waiting area of over 1,100 square meters, it calls attention to its neo-classical forms, its sculptures, the transparent dome of the central building, the constellations in the ceiling, columns and marble floor, the stairs you do not know where it leads... The huge figures of Roman gods, Mercury, Minerva and Hercules look down from 42nd Street. It has five restaurants and bars, 35 casual restaurants in the basement, the lower level dining room,  and 68 specialty stores across the halls. This terminal has 67 trains and 5 subway platforms. Some 750 trains arrive and depart daily from the terminal.
