In Harlem Week the past, present and future of this district is celebrated. It is a series of events throughout the summer that brings together all cultures and ages to celebrate the unique essence of this multicultural and diverse neighborhood. Annually 2 million people around the world are attracted to be part of these events, a colorful variety of cultures. People can enjoy activities such as concerts, exhibitions, youth programs, sports competitions, dances, street fairs, fashion shows and tours. Things start on July 31st with “A Great Day In Harlem”

Some of the most notable events:

  • ImageNation Outdoor Film Festival: Aug. 20th.
  • A Great Day in Harlem: It takes place on July 31st It's is a family event where participants can enjoy Outdoor Festival, exhibitions, concerts, dance, picnic and much more.
  • Harlem's Healthy Eating and Fair Farmers Market: Every Tuesday in August.
  • Hip Hop Film Festival: From August 3rd to 6th.
